Huntington Harbour’s Simple Green recently donated $50,000 to the Bolsa Chica Conservancy to help elementary school students learn about ecology and the environment.

“Only through the incredible generosity of Simple Green’s EGBAR Foundation (Everything’s Going to Be Alright) has the Bolsa Chica Conservancy been able to bring our mobile classroom van, Window to Our Wetlands, to underserved communities throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties,” said Conservancy CEO Patrick Brenden.

“With EDGAR’s recent monetary and Mercedes Sprinter Van donations, the Conservancy will be able to expand its coverage to a wider geographic area for kids in desperate need of this type of curriculum,” Brendan said.

“Simple Green’s founder, Bruce Fabrizio, is the reason this program became a reality and he is the reason it continues to flourish today. Thank you Bruce Fabrizio and the EGBAR Foundation for inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards,” Brendan said.

“2022 continues a multi-decade relationship with the Bolsa Chica Conservancy,” Fabrizio said.

“The wetland area is right here in our own backyard and if we don’t step up and protect our local environment, who will? We want to continue this critical mission of educating people on the effects humans have on our ecosystem and the entire marine environment,” Fabrizio said.

“We look forward to continuing our partnership on such an important mission,” Fabrizio said.
