Police are investigating a car crash that occurred last Friday, July 26, at Pacific Coast Highway and 12th Street. “At about 12:31 PM, the Seal Beach Police Department received a call of a traffic collision which occurred at Pacific Coast Highway and 12th Street. The driver collided with a parked semi-truck, side swiped another vehicle, then collided with a brick wall. No injuries were reported. The cause of the collision is still under investigation,” said Sgt. Michael Henderson, SBPD public information officer. Co-incidentally, a tree at same intersection was cut down on July 17, nine days prior to the car crash. “The tree was on private property near Blackboard Bistro. A permit is not required for the removal of a tree on private property,” said Assistant City Manager Patrick Gallegos.
