Leos celebrate service hours

The Seal Beach Leo Club held their 15th Annual Community Support Night where they celebrated more than 3,800 community service hours and donated $5,450 to various charities and community programs.

More than 135 Leos members worked on 48 service project and fundraisers this past year ranging from graffiti clean-up to tree planting.  Cameron Moore and Ryan Rodriquez were honored with Leo Spirit Awards and Evan Jenkins was named Leo-of-the-Year.

The Seal Beach Leo Club is open to area youth aged 12-18 who are interested in improving the community and helping the less fortunate.

This free program is sponsored by the Seal Beach Lions Club.   For additional information, contact Leo Advisor Scott Newton at scottnewton2@hotmail.com.
