Leisure World’s new Mission Park features bocce ball, multipurpose courts

Leisure World officials opened the gated community’s newest amenity on Monday, Sept. 10, the Mission Park sports and recreation complex.

The new facility features four pickleball/multi-purpose courts, a basketball court, and a bocce ball court.

The $400,000 park is the latest addition to the 9,000-resident community, which also features a 2,500-seat amphitheater, a nine-hole golf course, gym, pool and spa, library, healthcare center, several clubhouses that house billiard rooms, table tennis, shuffleboard, and woodworking and lapidary shops.
