On Saturday, Sept. 24, canines and their companions will take to the Huntington Harbour Yacht Club for the second annual Dog Day Afternoon.
The German Shepherd Rescue organization of Orange County will present Dog Day Afternoon from noon to 4 p.m.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (http://gsroc.org).
Canine contest categories include:
• Highest jumper
• Most original outfit
• Best special talent
• Best legs
• Best smile
• HHYC Dog of the Year
Wahoo’s Fish Taco will provide lunch for handlers and there will be a 50/50 opportunitydrawing Costs: $45 entry fee (includes lunch for handler and entry fee for one dog)
$15 general admission (includes lunch)
