Judges’ Choices winners at the Sunset Beach Chili Cookoff on Sept. 17 was the crew from Mother’s Tavern. The bar and grill has won the top spot in the cookoff more than any other entrants. Seen in the photo are Harmony Tague, Linda Folger, Barbara Dies, and Jennifer Webb.

First Mother’s; Second: Don the Beachcomber; Third Single Guys.
People’s Choice: First: Hillbilly Red – Chimene Armstrong; Second: Sunset Beach Star Real Estate; Third: Blood, Sweat & Beers—Carl and Kathy Macon.
Best Decorated: First: King Neptune’s; Second: Fuze Sports; Third: Sunset Beach Star Real Estate. Funds raised will go toward the Sunset Beach Woman’s Club’s charities and community causes.
