On Saturday, April 29, Seal Beach Police detectives arrested Robert Diaz Lua Jr., 35, of Seal Beach, on suspicion of rape and related charges.
Seal Beach Police Sgt. Michael Henderson said Lua has been released on bail.
According to police, Lua met the victim through an on-line dating website.
He is formerly a resident of the city of Merced.
