Seal Beach Lifeguards provide junior lifeguard program in Nicaragua

Seal Beach Lifeguards travel to Nicaragua to provide lifeguard training.

Seal Beach Lifeguards recently took a 10 day volunteer trip to Nicaragua to train lifeguards in the region through a non -profit organization called Nica Heartbeat. The Seal Beach Lifeguards provided a JG program for kids living in the area as well as sharing their skills/practices during the 10 day training session.

The Seal Beach lifeguards that went were Emily Andres, Atiya Yuwana, Daniella Spina and Alejandro Andrade.

The goal was teaching water safety and practices that are part of the Southern California Lifeguard Association.
