SBPD announces temporary suspension of street sweeper parking enforcement

The Seal Beach Police Department is suspending street sweeper parking enforcement until further notice. The suspension is effective today, Thursday, Dec. 10.

This is being done in an effort to assist those in quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic and the State’s stay at home order.
The street sweeper will continue its regular route and try to clean as much as possible, but there will be no enforcement for those who are unable to move their cars.

All other parking regulations will still be enforced including the meter lots, beach lots, posted time zones regulations, and painted curbs throughout Seal Beach.
