A new Married Couples Fellowship to encourage couples and help strengthen relationships is starting at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8 in Calvary Chapel of the Harbour’s Sanctuary (Peters Landing Marina, 16450 Pacific Coast Highway). The free gathering is led by happily married local couple, Bruce and Gloria Moore, who have lived together for nearly half a Century.

“We’re looking forward to meeting and learning from others. Together we’ll help each other solve the challenges of the roller coaster that is life,” said Musician Bruce Moore, who will play his guitar in the renown annual church Christmas Carol Play, (Dec. 6, 7, 8, 13, 14,& 15). “My wife and I want to serve others and help strengthen family units. We’ll do this by getting to know God better through his wisdom and praying for each other.”

“We’re really excited about this new, much-needed ministry and invite all couples to come and share in this caring fellowship,” said Senior Pastor Joe Pedick. “Every couple has challenges and this will help provide happier and healthier marriages. “Bruce & Gloria, who have been married 47 years, are the perfect couple to lead this.”

For more information, come on Nov. 8 or call the church at 562-592-1800.
