Local woman fatally struck by a car

A Seal Beach woman died last week after she was struck by a car whilce crossing Pacific Coast Highway. She was identified as Sarah Krueger, 46. Police have confirmed that the driver remained at the scene.

On Friday, Aug. 11, at approximately 11 a.m., Seal Beach Police officers received a call of a traffic collision at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 12th Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a pedestrian had been struck by a car and was seriously injured. The woman was transported to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where she died as a result of her injuries.
