Thursday, August 29

• Battery—8:45 a.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard—Seal Beach officers responded to a call of battery.

• Burglary—4:38 p.m.—Seal Way—The caller reported that her house had been burglarized, with no signs of forced entry.

• Arrest—Ocean Avenue and 6th Street—Justin Robert Gibson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Saturday, August 31

• Human Waste Disposal—1:50 a.m.—Main Street—Officers identified a violation of Seal Beach Municipal Code 7.35.010 (b) 8 Human Waste Disposal.

• Garage Burglary—3rd Street—The caller stated that their garage was burgled sometime between August 1 and August 13 at 8 a.m.

Sunday, September 1

• Carry Concealed—1:06 p.m.—Westminster Avenue—Seal Beach officers identified a person carrying a concealed dirk or dagger.

• Arrest—Westminster Avenue—Shadrach James Hoard was arrested on suspicion of exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

Monday, September 2

• Expired Registration—6:42 a.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard and Adolfo Lopez Drive—Police cited a vehicle that had registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Bicycle Theft—Saint Andrews Drive—The caller stated that their bicycle was stolen between noon on August 31 and 9 a.m. Sept. 1.

• Bicycle Theft—Seal Beach Boulevard—The caller reported a stolen bicycle, with the theft occurring between 4:30 and 10:30 p.m. on August 30.

• Paraphernalia—11:13 p.m.—San Gabriel Bike Trail—Seal Beach Officers identified possession of unlawful paraphernalia by the San Gabriel River.

Wednesday, September 4

• Misdirection—1:48 a.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard and Northbound 405 Freeway—Seal Beach Police responded to a vehicle that was driving the wrong way on the freeway.

• Grand Theft—6:45 a.m.—6th Street—The caller reported grand theft from their vehicle that occurred sometime between the time of the report and 5:30 p.m. the previous evening.

• Arrest—Main Street and Ocean Avenue—Griffin Christopher Stanfield was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Arrest—Pacific Coast Highway—Brandon James Lindsley was arrested on suspicion of possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
