Thursday, October 3

• Petty Theft—14th Street—The caller reported that their vehicle was broken into and items taken sometime between 7 p.m. on October 1, and 8:30 a.m. on October 2.

• Graffiti—2:22 p.m. —Seal Way and 13th Street—The caller reported that property had been defaced.

• Battery—10:58 p.m.—Ocean Avenue—Officers responded to a call regarded battery against a significant other.

Friday, October 4

• Abandoned Vehicle—8:42 a.m.—First Street and Marine Drive—A vehicle had been parked in the same spot for three days, incurring a 72-hour violation.

• Expired Registration—9:47 a.m.—Dolphin Avenue and Ocean Avenue—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Grand Theft—10th Street—The caller reported that their vehicle was taken between midnight on September 30 and midnight on October 4.

• Expired Registration—2 p.m.—North Gate Road—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Expired Registration—7:32 p.m.—Main Street—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Expired Registration—8:50 p.m.—Main Street—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

Saturday, October 5

• Possible DUI—12:05 a.m.—Studebaker Road and Loynes Drive (Long Beach)—Ian Herschel Rubinstein was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Possible DUI—12:48 a.m.—Westminster Avenue –Francisco David Garcia was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Possible DUI—Pacific Coast Highway and Balboa Drive –Xochitl P. Lira-simental was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Disorderly—8:30 a.m.—Main Street—Thomas Marc Alonzo was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct related to alcohol.

• Expired Registration—2:32 p.m.—Ocean Avenue—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Disorderly—6:09 p.m.—Main Street—Richard Michael Andrews was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct related to alcohol.

• Possession—9:22 p.m.—Seal Beach Boulevard—Eduardo Lazo was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

• Possible DUI—11:15 p.m.—Pacific Coast Highway and Studebaker Road (Long Beach)—Jordan Morua was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

Sunday, October 6

• Threat—5:30 p.m.—13th Street—Officers responded to a call from a woman who was being threatened. Michael Houston Pattison was arrested on suspicion of threatening a crime with intent to terrorize.

Monday, October 7

• Vandalism—7:44 p.m.—Montecito Road—The caller reported that property had been defaced.

• Expired Registration—1:03 p.m.—Ocean Avenue—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Deception—Seal Beach Boulevard—The caller reported that someone had tried to obtain money from her, an 80-year-old woman, under false pretenses between noon on October 2 and 1:22 p.m. on October 7.

• Shoplifting—7:14 p.m.—Pacific Coast Highway—goods less than $950.

Tuesday, October 8

• Expired Registration—8:33 a.m.—Main Street—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

• Disorderly—8:52 a.m.—Pacific Coast Highway—Jeffrey Brian Webb was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct while under the influence of drugs.

• Expired Registration—1:53 p.m.—Central Avenue—Officers cited a vehicle with registration that expired more than six months prior.

Wednesday, October 9

• Commercial Burglary—Seal Beach Boulevard—The caller reported that a business had been burglarized, though there was no forced entry, between 2 p.m., the previous evening, and 5 a.m. on Oct. 9.

• False ID—11:57 p.m.—Pacific Coast Highway and Balboa Drive—Khalil E. Thorton was arrested on suspicion of falsely identifying himself to peace officers.
