The Seal Beach Arts & Crafts Faire returns to Eisenhower Park Sept. 8 and 9 this year with more than 100 local vendors and artists in one of the most popular Craft Faires in the Southern California beach communities.

Awarded the “Best of Seal Beach-Gold” for Cultural Events, the show is open from 9–6 on Saturday and 9-5 on Sunday and includes entertainment from the Los Alamitos Unified School district all during the day, both days.

Also included will be the Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest, directed for the second year by Lion Barbara Wright, and the Chalk Art for Kids and Artist Awards.

Run for the third year by the Seal Beach Lions Club, this event is sponsored in part by the City of Seal Beach.

The Faire also has collaborated for many years with the Women’s Club who hosts their Annual Plant Sale fundraiser, with lovely plants, cuttings, hanging baskets and pots to beautify house and garden.

Another ongoing partnership is with the Seal Beach Animal Care Center which is a wonderful “no-kill” shelter. The shelter’s presence at the Arts & Crafts Faire precedes their Wag n’ Walk event and encourages new membership. They provide specialty baked goods for humans and fur-babies alike, and cold bottled water, helping them to bring in donations for their many services.

The Seal Beach and VBA LEO clubs will be providing lunch options for the artisans and the public which include hot dogs, bratwurst, and salads. Menus can be obtained at the Information Booth and the food area near the Lions Clock.

All in all, this is a fantastic Community event which showcases a large group of local vendors and artists, and is a perfect venue to begin your Holiday shopping with authentic and unique gifts.

There is limited parking in the Eighth and 10th street lots below the pier.
