An Eagle Scout in Seal Beach

Stephen Cray, 16, of Seal Beach, has earned the highest advancement award the Boy Scouts of America offers to Scouts, the Eagle Scout Award. A member of Troop 671, Cray is one in approximately 4 percent of all Boy Scouts who attain the Eagle Scout rank. Each candidate must earn 21 merit badges and successfully complete a community service project. Cray chose the restoration of the Red Car Museum in Seal Beach. A Los Alamitos High student, he is active in water polo, swimming and is a member of CSF. He is the son of Steve and Kerry Cray.
