SBPD seeks Private Sneakers store robbery suspects

On Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Seal Beach Police Department received report of a robbery at the Private Sneakers store located at 12410 Seal Beach Blvd.  Three suspects entered the store and removed multiple clothing items from the display stands.  One of the male suspects pulled out a pink colored box cutter knife and held it in his hand, while walking towards the store exit.

 

The armed suspect then turned and faced the store employee, who was behind the register. The armed suspect slowly walked backwards, while the other two suspects left the store holding the store merchandise.  All three suspects entered a blue, possible Honda Accord which was parked in front of the location. The car drove westbound through the parking lot and out of sight.  The loss was approximately $2,100 in Nike, Adidas and Ruca brand merchandise.

 

Suspect Descriptions:

  • Suspect one is described as male, African American, early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches, thin build, wearing a white t-shirt.
  • Suspect two is described as male, African American, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants, approximately 16-17 years old, medium build.
  • Suspect three is described as female, African American, mid-20s hair pulled back in braids, heavy set, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the name “Champion” on the front.
  • There was no description available for the fourth suspect, the driver of the car.
