The Sun recently asked various city officials one question: What opportunities and challenges do you see ahead for Seal Beach in 2013?
The Sun asked the question by either e-mail or phone.
District Three Councilman Gordon Shanks, like his colleague David Sloan, talked about the teamwork of the Seal Beach council.
“Just compare how our City Council gets along compared with Los Alamitos,” Shanks said.
He said the Bay City Partners project, which he referred to as the DWP property, was coming along.
“That’s probably going to be the major discussion point, depending a lot on what the Coastal Commission does,” Shanks said.
He also said that “somebody” would want to replace Ruby’s Diner at the end of the Seal Beach Pier.
