Kaelin Dale Henry married Mitchell Christopher Schacht on Aug. 28, 2011 after a year-long separation while each pursued graduate degrees on different sides of the country.
Kaelin, a long time Rossmoor resident and Los Alamitos High School graduate is working on her PhD in physiology at UC Davis.
Mitch completed a MSPH in Tropical Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans. They met while getting their undergraduate degrees at Biola University, in La Mirada.
The wedding was at Neff Park in La Mirada and the reception was at Memories Swing Dance Club in Whittier. Guests were treated to swing dance lessons. They honeymooned in Costa Rica and now reside in Davis, but plan to return to the Seal Beach area.
