Rossmoor Womens Club inducts a new member

The Rossmoor Woman’s Club recently welcomed a new member, Jennifer Stewart-Tai, into the group of active, dedicated women committed to improve our local communities through volunteer efforts and donations to such causes as: Bethune Transitional Center, Precious Life Shelter, Volunteer Services for LB Veterans Medical Center, Harbour Area Halfway Houses, AAUW Tech Trek Camp, for under-served young girls with aptitudes toward math and science disciplines. The members volunteer to cook for Ronald McDonald House residents, collect back-pack contents for the children of our armed forces, in addition to many other local charities.

Jennifer is founder of City Girl Prepper, and she specializes in keeping us uniquely prepared for disasters of all kinds.  She is CERT certified, she offers products and guidance for busy women who knows how to get the job done!

The club’s upcoming fund raiser, The Garden Tour, will be held May 15th, and will feature seven Los Alamitos yards, with festivities at Rush Park to follow.  Boutique items and food trucks will be available.

Rossmoor Woman’s Club meetings are held monthly at “The Grand,” in Long Beach.  Interested women in our surrounding communities seeking more information may receive further guidance from rossmoorwomansclub.com.
