Paddington Bear is lost and has been spotted in Rossmoor.  Bring friends, family and neighbors and enjoy an evening under the stars in Rush Park as Rossmoor welcomes “Paddington” to the big screen.  Friday, June 19 kicks off Rossmoor’s Stellar Summer Events including Movies in the Park, Concerts in the Park and Shakespeare by the Sea.

Rush Park is the place to be on Friday nights.  The box office hit “Big Hero 6” will be shown on July 17.  Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” won this years’ first ever movie ballot.  “Alexander” will light up the screen on Friday, Aug, 21.

Sponsored by the Rossmoor Community Services District Recreation Department, Rossmoor is celebrating over 10 years of offering free Movies in the Park. Kids can enjoy pre-movie activities beginning at 7:15 p.m.  Movies begin at dusk.  Plan on arriving early for preferred seating.

At the park, friends, families and neighbors can enjoy a picnic style dinner together prior to the show while children participate in a Paddington coloring contest and a Paddington Bear scavenger hunt.

Recreation staff will be selling fresh popcorn, soda and candy for a nominal fee. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, low chairs and flashlights.  For more summer special event listings, please visit www.rossmoor-csd.org or call the RCSD office at 562-430-3707. Rush Park is located at 3001 Blume Drive in Rossmoor.
