The Rossmoor Woman’s Club 7th Annual Garden Tour was held last month in which seven Rossmoor homeowners opened their backyard gardens to $10 self-guided tours.

The event netted $7,400,  organizers recently announced.

The Rossmoor Woman’s Club sold 521 tickets for the May 16 event and additonal money was raised from sales at an Outdoor Store set up at one of the homes.

The money will go to benefit the following charities: We Care, Interval House, Veterans Hospital and Precious Life. The Home & Garden Section of Rossmoor Woman’s Club would like to thank the Sun Newspapers, the News Enterprise, sponsors and the community for all their support by attending The Garden Tour and look forward to next May when the club will present it’s 8th Annual Garden Tour. Anyone interested in showing their garden next year should call (562) 810-7139. Pictured are homeowners June and Bob Gault whose garden was on display.
