The Christian Science Reading Room, located at 226 Main Street, Seal Beach, celebrated its 10th anniversary this past weekend by inviting members of the community to have refreshments and to enjoy a special open house.
Everyone is welcome to visit the Reading Room. It is open to people of all faiths, backgrounds, and ways of life.
It is a combination library, bookstore, and community reading center for the exploration of spirituality, prayer, and healing – a public resource for anyone on his or her quest for spiritual understanding and open to people of all faiths, backgrounds, and ways of life.
Bible students will find a variety of translations and commentaries as well as a computer program and works by Mary Baker Eddy that allows quick research through key words.
Regular business hours for the Reading Room are Monday through Thursday, 10-5; Friday-Saturday 10-8:30; Sunday 12-4.
