Paradis Ice Cream Seal Beach has rented the former Village Jewelers location at 205 Main St. and will open soon according to posters displayed on the retail site’s windows.
Jim Basham, director of the Seal Beach Community Development Department, recently confirmed that the shop owners have begun the city permitting process.
The ice cream shop will also require approval from the Orange County Health Care Agency.
The former jewelry shop will have to be remodeled before the ice cream business opens.
