Long Beach Architecture Week returns for 2023

Long Beach Architecture Week (LBAW) announced that its 2023 event series will take place from May 31 to June 10. Featuring an exciting single building tour of the famed Villa Riviera, the 2023 calendar also includes popular signature events.

The Long Beach Heritage Preservation Awards Luncheon kicks off the festivities on May 31. Attendees are invited to the historic Bembridge House to honor the efforts of the community to preserve treasured structures and history. Long Beach history buffs will be swooning over the exclusive tour of the Grande Dame of Long Beach, The Villa Riviera. A national Landmark, the Villa Riviera was built in 1928 in the Gothic French Chateauesque style. Perched on the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, its location, history, and unique architecture made it an icon of the city.
