Letters to the Editor: July 28, 2011

Though it may seem trivial to you, I feel compelled to share with you that Mr. Charles M. Kelly’s article in Thursday, July 21’s Sun employs the feminine of the word for the man accused of sexual assault. “Masseuse” is the feminine form for a massage therapist.  Therefore I first read the headline and thought the photo was going to be of the victim (male) since your headline meant a woman was accused of sexual assault.

Masseur is the correct term for a man.
