Free BBQ, Games & Crafts, Bounce House, Face-Painting, Costume & Carved Pumpkin Contests and Candy will highlight the annual free Harvestival, hosted by Calvary Chapel of the Harbour in Sunset Beach from 6 to 9 p.m. on Halloween, Oct. 31.

“Bring the whole family for a real treat that’s lots of fun. We’ll even have a terrific Puppet Show!” said Senior Pastor Joe Pedick, who will be in a surprise costume, along with his accomplished playwright/singer wife, Kathleen. The event will occur at the Peters Landing church, 16450 Pacific Coast Highway.

Assistant Pastor Chad Harris said to wear your best costumes for the contest and you might win some incredible prizes.

“We went to Harvestival last year and it was packed with kids and adults having a great time,” said Pat Carvalho, who attended with her actor husband, Ray, acclaimed for his role as the High Priest in the hit production, “Tragedy & Triumph.” “It’s a place where parents and their children can go together, dress up, act silly and have a blast in a safe environment.”
