Thanksgiving started last weekend at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Los Alamitos thanks to Food Finders, the charity started nearly two decades ago in Seal Beach by Arlene Merche, seen to the far left in the third picture.
Boeing, Molina and SCE employees joined Food Finders in the effort as did Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster. Food Finders canned goods drive will run through end of January. In addition, on Saturday, Judy Fouts of Seal Beach was made Queen for a Day to honor her for all her work as Chairperson of Local Missions at Good Shepherd over the last 4 years. This is her last year in that position.
