The Westphal family of Naples/Long Beach announces the engagement of Chad Ryan Westphal to Cerena Lyn Laurance of Washington.
After graduating from high school, Chad has been in the U. S. Coast Guard for almost four years and is a petty officer third class stationed in Anchorage, Alaska at this time.
Cerena is the daughter of Gary and Jeanette Laurance of Yakima, Washington. She graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Elementary Education and completed her masters program from Grand Canyon University with a MA in teaching. She is a third-grade teacher in the Anchorage, Alaska School District. The couple is planning a wedding in the summer of 2011 in Clayton, CA.
