Friday, November 22

Dumpster Dive – 11:26 a.m. – Ocean Avenue and 12th Street – The caller stated that two men and one woman were going through the trash in the alley while wearing blue gloves. Police were unable to locate the scavengers.

Illegal Parking – 2:33 p.m. – Seal Beach Boulevard – Officers identified a vehicle with a registration, license plate or permit that was not issued for the vehicle in question. The identifying tab was removed.

Trespassing – 4:49 p.m. – Seal Beach Boulevard – A woman in pink pants on rollerblades jumped the fence into the Naval Weapons Station and was detained in front of the Navy Police Department Headquarters. Allison Albright was arrested on suspicion of trespassing.

Hazard – 5:50 p.m. – Westminster Avenue and Kitts Highway – The caller stated that an individual in red pants was in the bike lane with a shopping cart. Quy Huynh was arrested on suspicion of creating a hazard.

Battery – 5:51 p.m. – Seal Beach Boulevard – A woman came into the station stating that she was being assaulted at work by a coworker and that the human resources department told her to file a report. Report taken.

Saturday, November 23

Illegally Parking – 9:45 a.m. – Montecito Road – The caller stated that a black Honda Civic was parked in the fire zone, and that the driver of the vehicle was working on a pool. The same issue had happened before but with different vehicles. Officers issued warnings concerning six vehicles.

Impound – 1:22 p.m. – Ocean Avenue – A silver 2005 Nissan Sentra was impounded due to registration that had expired more than six months prior.

Fence – 6:34 p.m. – Ocean Avenue – The caller stated that she saw her bike for sale on OfferUp, and that the bike in question was taken from her unlocked garage between Thursday, November 21 at 6:00 p.m. and Friday, November 22 at 8:30 a.m. She valued the bike at approximately $300. Report taken.

Off Key – 10:36 p.m. – Montecito Road – The caller stated that they could hear loud singing. Police located the responsible party in a common area and advised them of the noise complaint.
