Aunt Gertie got a purple Katie Kap! Hand made with love especially for me. Slick the Seal Beach Seal is sporting a pretty powder blue Katie Kap too! Katie Parkes tootles on down to Main Street on her brand new three-wheel bike, donated by a very generous, caring person after her previous bike was stolen. She picks out a bench near Main and Central Avenue and gets busy making new creations in bright, colorful yarn. She is soft spoken and kind and it seems like the whole world is in love with her. Katie’s resolve and drive is amazing! She doesn’t let cerebral palsy and scoliosis dictate how she lives her life! So, everyone out there, listen to Aunt Gertie! Don’t sit around arguing and knitpicking! Just go downtown and get one of Katie’s Kaps and it’ll put a smile on your face faster than a dog in a dress!!
