The single story house seen on the left can be viewed Sunday, Dec. 6 between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the Rossmoor Woman’s Club annual Holiday Home Tour. It was completely rebuilt in 2014 and has many elegant features. While viewing the holiday decorations, check out the green sea glass subway tiles in the kitchen and the tongue and groove ceiling in the great room. These are just a few of the special features in this house. This year the tour also features two other houses plus a docent led tour of St Isidore’s where tamales may be purchased. Stop by the boutique at the Aegean Design Shop for gift giving items. Enjoy mimosas and olive oil tasting at Antica Olive Oils, Spices, and Balsamic Vinegar.
During the tour, also visit the Ayres Hotel for refreshments and beverages and where you can purchase raffle tickets for the over 15 baskets or bid on the silent auction items. Baskets include wine and cheese, golf, man’s cooler, spa, kitchen, and many others worth over $300. Silent auction items include Bill Salamon paintings, kids toy wagon, and clothing.
