From Seal Beach Marine Safety Captain Joe Bailey:
“Dolores, a storm off the Baja Mexico coast is currently moving into our swell window.  The National Weather service has forecast this tropical storm to increase in intensity and become a hurricane.  If the storm moves as projected we have the potential to see some short duration surf over ten feet on Monday morning.  We will be watching this storm closely to see if it increases in intensity and moves into our swell window.
The Marine Safety Department will be updating its Facebook page with any new information as received.  Additionally, our Junior Lifeguard Captains Corps will be handing out flyers to the Seal Way residents tomorrow afternoon.  Please let me know if you have any questions.”
