The 53rd Sunset Beach Art Festival, held each year on Mother’s Day weekend, May 8 and 9, 2020, is now accepting applications for vendors and artists. Over 150 vendors will display their wares of fine arts and handmade crafts along the greenbelt/grass area in Sunset Beach making it a great place to find the perfect Mother’s Day gift. Additionally, The Firehouse Art Gallery, a juried art show, welcomes local artists to showcase and sell their art. Las Damas is accepting vendor applications until May 4, 2020 and Firehouse Gallery artist applications until April 29, 2020. All proceeds from the Sunset Beach Art Festival go to support Las Damas’ three areas of giving; our local schools’ art programs, local charities and continuing education grants. Las Damas is a non-profit volunteer service organization founded in 1948.
