The Monarch Nature Trail volunteer day will take place Saturday, February 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers help restore this open space’s wildlife habitat, supporting Orange County’s declining Monarch Butterfly population!
The Trail is the old Navy railroad right-of-way in North Huntington Beach, near Westminster Avenue and Bolsa Chica Road at the south end of the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach. Enter at the Rancho Rd. entrance (near Spa Drive, where you can park), and look for our table. (Byram Healthcare on Rancho abuts the trail.) Volunteers assist with habitat maintenance including watering, weeding and planting. All ages are welcome and youth are invited to participate in a hands on nature activity!
