The Long Beach Lawn Bowling Club is hosting an Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along with other clubs nationwide. The goal of the Open House is to introduce new people to the sport of lawn bowling. It is a sport for all ages which is competitive and requires strategy and finesse. It is a very social and rewarding sport and offers opportunities to compete at many different levels with other clubs and in other countries.
At the Open House on May 7, they will be offering free lessons, and bowling equipment is provided. We ask that guests wear flat-soled shoes to protect the greens.
