Children and parents attended the 2026 McGaugh Coastal Country Carnival and Silent Auction on Saturday, Oct. 24. Games included ping pong, bingo, and cow milking (featuring a fake cow), rock climbing, and a Nerf War Zone.

“For our silent auction, our numbers are still coming in but we are projecting results that exceeded our goal,” wrote Sharon Zolfagari, executive vice president of the McGaugh PTA.

Seal Beach Lions served food to guests of all ages.

“We are so grateful for the generous donations from the community that helped us achieve these amazing results,” Zolfagari wrote.

Zolfagari provided a copy of a thank you message to the McGaugh community.

“The PTA extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, bid, and helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success,” the message said.

“We would also like to recognize our wonderful community partners: Seal Beach Lions Club, Seal Beach Police Department VIPS, Team Chamberlain, Mungo Family, Automotive Excellence, and Seal Beach Pony, along with our many High School and Middle School student volunteers. Your dedication, time, and involvement helped bring the carnival to life, and we are fortunate to have such a supportive community behind McGaugh,” the message said.
