McGaugh Elementary School is inviting families, neighbors, and community members to join the fun at the 2026 McGaugh PTA Carnival & Silent Auction from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 24.
With a festive “Yee Haw McGaugh!” theme, the carnival will transform the school into a lively gathering place for families to enjoy classic carnival attractions, western-inspired activities, and entertainment for all ages.
Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of activities, including a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, rock wall, inflatables, obstacle courses, bubble roller racing, line dancing, a cow-milking challenge, Nerf wars, a LEGO Derby Hill, jail escape room, and much more. Children can also visit the cake walk, build a stuffy, and enjoy other carnival favorites.
Entertainment will include performances by McGaugh Choir, FNL Cheer, and professional line-dancing instruction to get everyone moving.
The carnival will also feature a variety of food and refreshments, giving families a chance to gather, enjoy lunch, and spend the day connecting with friends and neighbors.
Beyond the festivities, the carnival is an important community fundraiser that brings together families, local businesses, and volunteers in support of McGaugh Elementary.
McGaugh PTA extends its heartfelt thanks to the local businesses, community partners, families, and volunteers whose generosity helps bring this beloved school tradition to life.
Organizers thanked the Seal Beach Lions Club for coordinating the carnival’s grill and Domino’s Pizza for offering to provide lunch while supporting the event. The PTA also thanked Chamberlain Real Estate for sponsoring the carnival’s pumpkin patch.
The PTA is continuing to welcome community support leading up to carnival day. Donations of cakes for the Cake Walk, drinks for the Snack Booth, and new, unopened toys, puzzles, dolls, and books for the Prize Booth are greatly appreciated. Community members can also support the event by volunteering their time, attending the carnival, and participating in the online silent auction.
In addition to the carnival activities, the McGaugh PTA Silent Auction will give community members another opportunity to participate and support the school. The online auction opens Oct. 18 at noon and closes at 4 p.m. on Oct. 24, with new items being added now. Auction items will also be available to view in the school gym on Friday, Oct. 23 after school and during carnival day.
