At the half-way point in the 2013 Season, Griffin Girls Varsity Tennis continues undefeated in Sunset League. In week three of league matches, Los Al beat Marina 14 to 4 and bested Edison 12 to 6. Both wins allowed coaches to play a wide range of players especially with the top two singles players not playing in week 3 because of illness.
Team Captains, Seniors Mary Bunting, Claire Akashi and Stephanie Kim are enjoying the team’s success for the second year in a row following the tremendous success of the 2012 Season.
The J.V. Team continues moving up in League ranking with wins against Marina and Edison in week three of League play.
