DESCRIPTION:The Monarch Nature Trail volunteer day will take place Saturday\, from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers help restore this open space’s wildlife habitat\, supporting Orange County’s declining Monarch Butterfly population! \nThe Trail is the old Navy railroad right-of-way in North Huntington Beach\, near Westminster Avenue and Bolsa Chica Road at the south end of the Naval Weapons Station\, Seal Beach. Enter at the Rancho Rd. entrance (near Spa Drive\, where you can park)\, and look for our table. (Byram Healthcare on Rancho abuts the trail.) See monarchnaturetrail\, and hit the History tab for a map. \nVolunteers assist with habitat maintenance including watering\, weeding and planting. All ages are welcome and youth are invited to participate in a hands on nature activity! \nThe next volunteer day is February 5.

Normally we meet in the Community Room in the Seal Beach Fire Station at 3131 North Gate Road. For the foreseeable future we will be meeting on Zoom.
