SUMMARY:Sounds of Summer at 2nd & PCH
DESCRIPTION:The Sounds of Summer music series brings live musical performances from an eclectic mix of Southern California artists and genres every Tuesday evening 6 – 8 p.m. on the grand staircase\, July 12 through August 30. \nOn August 2\, Tomorrows Bad Seeds will perform. \nCultivated in The South Bay of Los Angeles\, Tomorrows Bad Seeds is the musical embodiment of surf and street culture; a perfect blend of hip hop\, punk\, reggae\, rock and soul. \nSince TBS’ inception in 2001\, the band has shared the stage with a number of well known artists\, such as Willie Nelson\, Slightly Stoopid and Pennywise\, and has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the U.S.\, including Vans Warped Tour\, Cali Vibes and BeachLife. Off stage\, TBS has co-written and produced work with songwriter Tim Myers (formerly of OneRepublic)\, producer Damon Elliott (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony)\, and most recently\, jack-of-all-trades\, DENM. \nWhile the band has always been known for an extensive touring schedule\, the pandemic that hit in early 2020 offered up a unique opportunity for a change of pace and a shift of focus. TBS utilized the unforeseen downtime to write and record new music\, purchase and open a storefront in San Pedro\, CA\, and ultimately\, re-emerge on the scene completely rejuvenated and independent. \nThe band hit the ground running in 2022\, wasting no time releasing multiple singles\, and playing shows in numerous states across the country. With more shows already scheduled everywhere from Colorado to the Virgin Islands\, as well as plans to release an album in the near future\, Tomorrows Bad Seeds is undoubtedly a band to keep an eye and an ear on. \nFor a full performance schedule visit 2ndandpch.com.

SUMMARY:Seal Beach Concert in the Park
DESCRIPTION:Stevie Nicks Illusion will close out the Seal Beach Concert Series on Wednesday. Stevie Nicks Illusion has been referred to as the most authentic sounding tribute to Fleetwood Mac to date. The haunting vocals and performance of Diana Grace are “Spot On” as Stevie Nicks from the early years of the 1970’s\, and Monty Sommer recreates Lindsey Buckingham’s vocals and unique and intricate guitar work to sheer perfection! World Class musicianship combined with the chemistry and performance of all five band members is pure magic and all with no tracks!  Laurie Richardson captures the essence of Christine McVie in voice\, as well as on keyboards. The band showcases the Best of Fleetwood Mac plus specially selected songs from Stevie Nicks’ solo career. \nThis low-key outdoor venue is really what California does best. You’ll find a great mix of music\, which doesn’t limit itself to one genre\, so there is a concert for everyone.
