St. Patrick’s Day on Main Street

Rain reduced the crowds some business owners and residents had feared would fall upon Seal Beach Main Street on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17.

However, the weather didn’t stop some revelers from enjoying themselves at the seaside community’s four Irish bars and pubs. The Lions Club was present to offer free rides home for those who drank too much. The Seal Beach Police Department was present to keep the peace. Hennessy’s and O’Malley’s on Main provided canopies for the patrons who stood in line in the cold and the wet while they waited for a chance to go inside their favorite places and have a bit of fun.
