Officers from the Hawthorne Police Department were on hand to  support the fundraiser for the Andrew Garton family last weekend at the St.  Hedwig  baseball fields.  The late Officer Garton lived in Rossmoor with his wife and two sons prior to his death.  Hawthonre officers brought several squad cars and their tactical SWAT vehicle to the game. The SWAT vehicle was a big hit for the kids present.   The fundraiser continues through the conclusion of the All-Star  Tournament on Friday, June 17.
