Los Alamitos baseball team visits Japan for Tomodachi tourney

In mid-July, 21 Los Alamitos Baseball players went on a 10-day tour of Japan (shown here in the red, white, and blue uniforms with their Japanese host teams).  They were hosted by Nippon Sport Science University, in conjunction with Yokohama Aoba and Yokohama Kita Baseball Organizations.  They participated in the “Tomodachi Games 2015,” playing 6 games and having an opportunity to participate in a Japanese-style baseball practice.  The players and families experienced the Japanese culture both on and off the field and attended a regional high school tournament game and a professional baseball game.  All the players made many new friends and hope to see them again soon.
