Brianna Buckle of the Seal Beach Swim Club recently won first place for the 50 meter Freestyle at the Junior Olympics in Thousand Oaks, Calif., July 27-31. Buckle lives with her family on Garden Park in Garden Grove, just east of College Park East in Seal Beach. Buckle now holds the records for the 9/10 age group on the Seal Beach Swim Club in: 50-meter freestyle: 30.68; 50-meter butterfly: 33.60; 100-meter butterfly: 117.07.
