Rising star Nicky Barot releasing new album ‘Me’

Nicky Barot of Los Alamitos, who has long been on the radar screen as one of the up and coming musician/artists on the Southern California scene, is releasing song tracks from his upcoming album titled “Me,” named after one of his most popular songs which he also wrote.

“Me,” the title track, is an energetic, contagious blend of Nick’s rock and contemporary pop style, which leaves his audiences wanting more of his unique sound.

The other track just released is titled “Like There Never Was You,” and shows the softer, melancholy side of Nicky.

Both tracks have just now been released on Nicky’s website, www.nickybarot.com.

His latest music video, based upon “Like There Never Was You” produced by Blue Horizon Pictures, is also available for viewing.

Right now through April 30, 50 fans visiting his website to register for Nicky’s mailing list and also clicking “LIKE” on his Facebook page will receive a hard copy of the full album, “Me.” His Facebook address is www.facebook.com/nickybarotmusic.

This album was co-produced by industry veteran Mickey Jack Cones (Kelly Clarkson, Trace Adkins, Jason Aldean).

“Nicky is more than an extraordinary singer, songwriter and musician. Nicky is a star! He has it all–talent, drive, focus, commitment, image and personality. You know that rare, indescribable, all-encompassing ‘it’ quality? Nicky has “it’,” said Mickey Jack Cones, producer.

Barot, an 18-year old Orange County native, has been packing clubs in Los Angeles and beyond for years, and has earned the respect of many music industry notables for his refreshing talent for songwriting, singing and playing guitar.

He has co-written songs with legendary songwriters including Kenny Lamb (Justin Timberlake), Anthony Little (Tina Turner, Jessica Simpson), Dave Robbins (Eric Clapton) and Jason Deere (Lady Antebellum, LeAnn Rimes.)

After performing to hundreds of screaming fans at The Roxy, The House of Blues and Chain Reaction late last year, his fans have been eagerly awaiting the new album “ME.”

Nicky is planning to release his new album later this year, but wants to get his fans a sneak peak now with a couple of his songs.   For more information and to register for a promotional copy of his album “Me,” visit www.nickybarot.com.
