Original Parts Group, Inc.—or “OPGI”—will celebrate its 30th Anniversary on Sunday, April 1, with an event at its world headquarters in Seal Beach, California, featuring hundreds of vintage GM muscle cars, tours of the company showroom, food and fun for the entire family. Proceeds from the event will benefit a number of local charities through the Seal Beach Lions Club, the event food vendor.
OPGI is a well-known name in muscle-car circles. The company is a catalog merchant that specializes in General Motors restoration parts and accessories. At the Seal Beach headquarters, the company houses all of the operations related to the business. This includes the complete warehouse, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, product development and testing, merchandising, catalog production, customer service, call center, business operations, executive offices, and first-floor retail showroom.
OPGI is among the top sales-tax revenue generators for the city, among the top employers, and is actively engaged in the community. The company is the platinum sponsor of the 25th Seal Beach Classic Car Show, to be held this year on April 28 in Old Town Seal Beach.
