Police have located a missing Seal Beach man in a California hospital. David Rezeau Brearly, 73, had been missing since Wednesday, June 24.
On June 27, Seal Beach Police Department officers responded to the report of a missing person on Seventh Street. After interviewing several family members, it was determined, that Brearly has not been seen or heard from since last Wednesday. He was reported to be in good physical health, but might be suffering from memory loss. It appeared he left his home on foot, without a cell phone. At the time of this incident, there were no suspicious circumstances.
Police issued a missing person flyer for Brearly over the weekend. Police announced he had been located in an email notice to the media at 12:23 p.m., Monday, June 29. The Sun will update this story as it develops.
