It’s music with a mission for Taste Nation LLC, which recently organized the first of a three-part charity concert series at the Starting Gate restaurant and other locations in and around Los Alamitos.

One hundred percent of all proceeds from a raffle and silent auction go to the Precious Life Shelter and other local charities.

Taste Nation is a hybrid music company bringing together corporate and non-profit organizations for events benefiting both.

Their music charity concert series began Saturday, and will continue on Oct. 20, from 4 to 9 p.m., at the Starting Gate. Pictured is the duo C-GAK who recently performed live at the Starting Gate restaurant and bar in Los Alamitos, to benefit local charities.
